Moto X4 Specifications Leak: Complete Features of the Upcoming Moto X4 Smartphone

Motorola's GamePad Moto Mod can be pre-ordered exclusively from Verizon for $79.99

Unfortunately, there's no more details on when the phone will actually go on sale, so stay tuned in the coming weeks for updates.

After numerous leaks these past few weeks, we now finally have on our hands the first official press images of the Moto X4, and they are accompanied by the supposed final specs for the phone as well. Android Authority has now published a report where the complete Moto X4 specifications and features are detailed.

The presentation slide said the Moto X4 would have a 5.2-inch full HD display with 3D glass, but that's all the information we could gather from it.

The phone will have a USB-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack on the base with a SIM slot (possibly a dual SIM/microSD card slot) at the top. The device works with numerous Moto Mods so you can experience more from the phone like easy gaming with the Moto GamePad, extra power with the Moto TurboPower Pack, 360-degree video recording with the 360 Camera Moto Mod, or enjoy high-quality audio listening with the JBL SoundBoost 2.

Internally, the Moto X4 is rumoured to be packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 64-bit Octa-Core chipset, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board storage. These variants would be region specific and it is possible that some regions might not get both these variants.

As is customary on Motorola phones now, a fingerprint scanner can be found below the display - the X4 isn't following the current trend of all-screen front panels - and while not confirmed, it's likely this will offer gesture controls.

It will also sport the same Dual rear camera setup at the back and the design will also be the same. The camera supports PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus) and comes with a dual-LED CCT flash, thanks to the dual cameras you can capture images with the bokeh depth of field effect and change focus between the foreground and background of an image. There's also a respectable selfie camera with 16-megapixel and f/2.0 aperture on the front.

Motorola's Moto X4 would run on a 3000mAh battery, which supports Turbo Charge. Moto Actions, Moto Display and Moto Voice will all reportedly make their way to the Moto X4 as well, and the phone should be IP68 dust and water resistant.
