This is the Moto X4 — Exclusive

Moto X4 Leak

The Moto X4 will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor under the hood with two configurations. It's unknown whether all of these features will come to the Moto X4 but it's likely several of these will. The Moto X4 will also be IP68 dust and water resistant, offering additional protection for those with butter fingers.

Motorola has been releasing a bunch of phones this year but the device many have arguably been waiting for, is a new addition to the Moto X range. The latest rumored specs include a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 (FHD). Previous reports have pegged a metal and glass affair, though the back could be plastic to cut down on costs. Also on the back is the dual camera, which sees a 12MP main camera with dual autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and 1.4µm pixel size paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12µm pixel size and 120° field of view. That looks to change with the upcoming Moto X4, and an image obtained by Brazilian site Tudocelular seems to have confirmed what the phone will look like. There will be a dual-LED flash, phase detection autofocus and depth of field effects.

When it comes to camera the smartphone has 16 MP front camera which can click high quality selfies. This and the Adaptive Low Light mode should allow users to capture great selfies even in low-light conditions. A fingerprint scanner is embedded in the front of the handset, and keeping the lights on is a 3000mAh battery. This camera is capable of shooting 4k video at 30 frames per second or Full HD video at 60 frames per second.

Moto X4 new images reveal a premium glass and metal body design in black colour variant.

The curves seem a little less pronounced than a month or so ago, and the dual-LED flash is positioned differently in relation to the phone's dual rear-facing camera setup. Now Motorola may make that list even longer if it brings back the Moto X series, which hasn't seen a release since the Moto X Force in 2015.
