"If we are going to tackle rape culture in this country, we need to address the entertainment industry and its willingness to cover up decades worth of sexual abuse on Harvey Weinstein's account", Chaudhary wrote.

The actor said being a father to daughter, he was disgusted by the revelations against Weinstein and if he knew about it, he would have tried to stop it.

Mrs. Clinton had remained conspicuously silent about the allegations against Mr. Weinstein ― until Tuesday. But it would be unsurprising if what happened to Cosby, Ailes, and Weinstein befalls some of these other figures as their power dwindles.

Speaking of disposing of Weinstein's contributions, Democrats have even managed to fumble that.

It was a similar story for Ailes, the once-mighty Fox News CEO whom several female employees last year accused of sexual harassment. And that's for one main reason: This story will only get worse and drag on - and on and on. One of the most famous comedians in the world in the 1970s and 1970s, Cosby hadn't done anything of note in years.

The move comes in response to the mounting allegations of sexual misconduct, harassment and assault against Hollywood heavyweight Harvey Weinstein.

Bill Cosby, too, was in the twilight of his career when decades-old allegations resurfaced in 2014, leading dozens more women to come forward. He waited just as long to respond, and offered just as weak a statement as Hillary. She told her then-boyfriend Brad Pitt, who then confronted Weinstein. Chapman said Tuesday that she plans to divorce Weinstein. Shouldn't the Obamas have expressed a little anger over that betrayal? The couple has two children: India Pearl, 7, and Dashiell Max Robert, 4. "It was hard to say no because he's so powerful".

That is a big problem for the Democratic Party. And it hasn't won an Academy Award for best picture since 2011 (The Artist) and, this year, is extremely unlikely to have a single nominee in the field. Look for "The New York Times" and select "enable skill".

Democrats have hitched their wagons to the arrogant Hollywood moguls and A-list celebrities who continually lecture Americans to adopt their values and way of life.

The New York Post have also reported that The New York Police Department have opened an investigation into Weinstein, with The Special Victims Division having been ordered to "endeavour to identify and locate and interview any potential victims" - according to a high-ranking police source.
