Indonesian Siti Aisyah, 25, and Doan Thi Huong, 28, a Vietnamese, are charged with murdering Kim Jong Nam by smearing his face with VX, a chemical poison banned by the United Nations, at Kuala Lumpur airport on Feb. 13.

Wan Azirul, who is the ninth witness in the case, said the names were revealed by both of the women when they were quizzed by police during initial investigations. "We are going to change politics into one that is based on the people's voices, not one that comes down from up above".

Wan Azirul identified Mr. Y as a man seen in a video recording played in court. The two new groups were created in the process of breaking up what used to be the main opposition Democratic Party.

The Samjiyon eight were identified after the group of officials, including Hwang Pyong So, Ma Won Chun and Kim Won Hong, agreed to the purge and execution of Jang, Kim's uncle-in-law, in Samjiyon County, Yanggang Province, in 2013.

The four unnamed suspects were only identified as Mr. Chang, Mr. Y, James, and Hanamori also known as "Grandpa" or "Uncle", investigating police officer Wan Azirul Nizam Che Wan Aziz told the court, citing criminal investigation findings.

"The man walking with Doan is referred to as Mr Y. He had smeared liquid on Doan's hands", Wan Azirul Nizam said.
