IPhone X Freezes Up in Cold Weather, Customers Say

iPhone X review: Apple takes smart phone to whole new level

Ming-Chi Kuo estimates Apple will sell 25 to 27 million iPhone X units in the final calendar quarter of 2017 and will increase production of the iPhone X by 35 percent to 45 percent in the first quarter of 2018, according to his report to clients. Kuo doesn't make any predictions about the prices for the two OLED phones, but considering that the iPhone X sells for $999 / £999 / AU$1,579, there's little doubt that the bigger of the two will certainly be much more expensive.

The tech giant has previously warned its customers that using some of their devices in colder weather could cause the battery life to shorten and turn the phone off.

Kuo says all three devices will have a full-screen design and Face ID replacing the home button. Apple may set the device up to be the cheapest of the lineup, with a price between $649-749. Users reported a cracking and buzzing sound through the earpiece speaker at high volumes that appears in calls, during video playback or when listening to music. Will a torrent of new products save Apple?

KGI Securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo reports that Apple is going to be announcing a total of three new iPhone models next year. "The iPhone X has a 5.8" screen, and the iPhone 8 has a 4.7" screen. Apple's new iOS 11.0.2 software fixes bugs on some the phone. For example, the PPI will be considerably lower. Like previous iPhones, or other smartphones for that matter, the iPhone X too is susceptible to certain issues. The main selling points for the TFT-LCD model will be the new edge-to-edge design and 3D sensing / facial recognition. While the issue is yet to be fixed by the company, there seems to be a new bug that has cropped up.

Once again, if you've spent a whole load of money on this phone and have any of these issues, you should get in touch with Apple for an exchange or fix. Try it once now: Once you learn the steps, you're likely to remember how to perform this operation when you need to reboot your iPhone 8.
